What products are best for your tween daughter?

We live in an era where a single Tik-Tok video can sell out an entire product line, it’s safe to say that Gen Z has redefined the beauty industry.

Forget glossy magazines ads – Gen Z turns to Tik Tok and Instagram for beauty inspiration. Influencers and everyday users alike are sharing unfiltered reviews, tutorials, and hacks in real time.

With the above said, parents are often overwhelmed when trying to choose safe and effective products for their tweens, especially as this age group is transitioning into puberty and experience changes in their skin.

Here is a quick guide to help parents navigate this decision.

My advice is ‘Keep it simple’. Tweens don’t need a complicated skincare routine. Start with the basics to avoid overwhelming their young skin. I have an almost 9 year old daughter and she has safely used the below products.

Microcurrent Face Lifter | 6 in 1 Device

This device is best used for lifting, toning and contouring the face. It uses microcurrent technology to stimulate facial muscles and promote a more youthful appearance.

I have used this device consistently and have noticed my skin is bouncier and firmer, with fewer fine lines.

The only part of my face I cannot use this device on is my forehead. Due to years of Botox treatments, I have researched that microcurrent is not ideal for Botox areas. Microcurrent stimulates facial muscles and will dissolve your Botox quicker.

In saying that, I have still enjoyed the device on other areas of my face and seen results.

I absolutely love this device. I use cool therapy for morning and warm for evening.  Most mornings I wake up before 5am to go for a run. After my run I use the device to de- puff my under-eye area and make me look rested. At night I use warm therapy to relax my eyes after being on a computer all day.

I love this device for my pamper sessions. I start off by using the Geske Microneedling Device and then use the Geske Sonic Warm & Cool Mask on yellow light with the Geske Ultra Hydrating Mask to calm my skin and hydrate. After that my skin feels so smooth and soft.

I personally use this device 3 to 4 times a week and love how my skin feels after use. It exfoliates gently while promoting blood circulation. You can also use any other gel cream, but to get the best results I recommend the microcurrent gel. I have noticed a huge difference in my skin. Once again, I suggest avoiding Botox areas.

This is a perfect device for at home use. It’s gentle enough to use weekly and has no down time.

This is my holy grail device. It has made such a difference to my skin. My skin is more even and smooth in just a few weeks. It also comes with interchangeable heads. I placed the cooling head in the fridge for depuffing and cooling effect after treatment.
